Fly

Sonoma State University is accessible from three nearby airports:

Bus/Public Transportation from the Airport

Take the Airport Express (about $36 one way) from Oakland International Airport or San Francisco International Airport and get off at the Doubletree Hotel in Rohnert Park (3.5 miles from Sonoma State). Airport Express also services Sonoma County Airport.

Golden Gate Transit Bus Service and BART can also be used to help you get to Sonoma State.

From SFO take Pittsburg/Bay Point BART Train, get off on Embarcadero, walk to Fremont St (between Mission & Market St), take bus 74 North (Golden Gate Transit), get off bus at Old Redwood Hwy & George St. Walk to Old Redwood Hwy & William Dr. Take bus 10 (Sonoma County Transit) to SSU (about $30). From OAK take BART to Coliseum Station. Get on Dublin/Pleasanton-Daly City Train towards Daly City. Drive

Take a road trip through California along the 101 or through scenic back roads. Sonoma State University is located 50 miles north of San Francisco. The campus is less than three miles off of Highway 101 exit Rohnert Park Expressway. General parking on campus is $5/day.

Train

Sonoma State University is less than 1.5 miles east of the Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART Train)  Cotati station.
